Amber came into the HVAC replacement process feeling hesitant, just how many other homeowners do. She had concerns about her schedule, rooftop access, and even how the crew might treat her home. But what she found was something completely different:
“I was very anxious about accessibility, not only to my rooftop, but also my schedule and being able to be home for the techs. You guys worked around that. You guys were fantastic with accommodating my schedule and making sure anything needed to be done was done on my schedule, which was very rare. So the fact that got done efficiently, but also very thoroughly and clean and organized. Super It especially because I have a pet and he likes to tamper with stuff. And so knowing they kept things very contained, and were conscious of fact that I have ceramic tiling, were conscious about even scraping the paint on my walls, everything. They were very conscious of all, all the way down to footprints and stuff. I know, I didn't even have to ask that.”
Beyond the installation, it was the transparency and respect from the team that made a lasting impression.
“Well, not only did I live to see it by being over the technician's shoulder, but I also felt confident in that quality because quality, in my opinion, translates not just from the product, but across how it's communicated and the team and how it's being sourced. And know it comes from quality because they took their time to do it and explain it. And that's huge.”
For Amber, the ease of our service process stood out, especially when other companies made things feel more complicated than necessary.
“A lot of other people had really complicated the process, whether that was saying they needed to have someone come out and do diagnostics or them trying to kind of oversell me on a bunch of stuff that I felt like wasn't needed when all I needed was to just replace my unit. So I think that whole process made it very simple, very user friendly, especially for somebody who's not super tech savvy and gets impatient with technology. So. was very user friendly.”

“You know, the number one thing for everybody is what's the ultimate cost of the installation of the new equipment and stuff. And that's always key. I'm always also one type that would pay more than the low bidder (because) of the people you deal with in negotiating the cost of the installation. And what I found is the group I worked with at Mint was just outstanding people. And, you know, in a way, you become friends with them pretty quick. And also what I liked is the experience that I felt that these people had in this industry. That's critical, too.”
He went with Mint Home because we didn’t just offer a great price, we followed through on it.
“The number one thing was the outstanding price you gave me. And, like I said, you lived up to it. So that was the number one thing. But, you know, the people, again, right there with the cost.”
And when the job was done, it was done right:
“I did not have to clean up afterwards. All the used equipment, old equipment was taken away. They had people come to pick that up and it was orderly, it was on time, and it works. So, we've had it now operating for a week and no issues whatsoever.”
Scott is already spreading the word:
“I, again, since I'm a retiree, I always hang out with my buddies every Tuesday and Thursday and all of us have the same age homes, for the most part. And so, every one of our matters of discussion every time is, hey, what are doing to the house now? And so I've already passed on the name a couple times. And we'll continue to do that for Mint.”
